The Tree Planting Ceremony, held for the first time in Malaysia in 1991, became an indispensable traditional activity before any grand opening of the AEON MALL shopping mall chain. This ceremony reflects the desire of AEON MALL to not only contribute to the creation of a practical shopping center for the city, but also to contribute to the development of a sustainable business, a link between the community and the collective success of AEON MALL Vietnam.
The ‘AEON Hometown Forest’ Tree Planting Ceremony in Hai Phong aims to raise awareness of the importance and significance of environmental conservation among the local community and employees of AEON MALL Hai Phong Le Chan. This event also plays a role in making an active appeal for a better life, consistent with the ceremony’s mission: “How much local living space we take is how much green space we return.”
The Tree Planting Ceremony is expected to welcome members of the officers, AEON MALL Hai Phong Le Chan employees, and local residents. More than 1000 trees will be planted in the hope that they will have the opportunity to develop and contribute to the construction of a sustainable green future particularly for port city and the general community.
