In preparation for the opening of AEON MALL Hai Phong Le Chan, the 6th Aeon Mall in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, a tree planting ceremony which represents the traditional AEON Hometown Forests Program was held on Saturday, 3rd October, 2020 by AEONMALL Vietnam Co., Ltd. And AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd.
Approximately 400 participants attended the ceremony to plan over 1,000 native saplings from 30 different types such as “laurel”, “sweet olive”, “jungle flame”.
One tree is planted, one green hope grows. This year, in efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the scale of the ceremony was narrowed down to only one-third of the original plan with the participation of about 400 local representatives and residents. Nevertheless, more than 1,000 trees were planted during this occasion and total 10,000 trees are scheduled to cover around the mall afterwards, with the belief that after Covid-19 is gone, the green and hope stays.
Among the magnificent red color of flamboyant flowers, Hai Phong will embrace the green shade of AEON MALL Hai Phong Le Chan. AEON MALL is endeavoring to contribute to Hai Phong city regarding to environment protection, economic development as well as other social responsibilities with aims of becoming a reliable companion to the local community.
